Introducing Challenger Fantasy

MMA is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. Its fanbase is passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply engaged, and yet, the infrastructure around fan participation hasn't kept up. Pick'em tools and basic prediction games exist, but nothing matches the depth of the sport or the sophistication of its audience.

Challenger Fantasy is built to close that gap.

The core insight is this: MMA produces a wealth measurable in-fight data. This includes strikes landed, takedowns, submission attempts, control time, finish rate, and much more. Existing MMA fantasy formats do very little with it. Most reduce a multi-layered athletic contest to a single binary outcome, which inevitably leads to flat gameplay. For a fanbase that follows the sport closely, more can be done.

We designed Challenger around performance-based scoring and a live snake draft format. Players build rosters from an active fight card, compete head-to-head, and earn points based on what actually happens in the cage. The result is a game that rewards genuine fight knowledge and creates real strategic depth.

The draft structure in particular addresses something MMA has never had: a native PvP format. Every pick is a decision made in competition with other players. It changes how fans engage with a card from the moment it's announced.

We're early. A demo is live, and the mobile app is on the way. New game modes, deeper stats, and community features are planned shortly after. The opportunity in front of us is designing a game for a passionate, underserved fanbase, in a sport that is still getting its footing. If that sounds interesting to you, join our discord to let us know your thoughts, or join our waitlist to receive early access for the mobile launch.
